In the final weeks of your pregnancy, excitement is definitely at an all-time high as your baby is about to make their debut. It’s understandable that many people are going to want to meet your baby…
But what if you’re not ready?
One mama told me that the only people that get mad at you setting boundaries are the people that benefited from you not having any in the first place. As you bring your new baby home it’s so important that you have boundaries set in place. This could look like anything, from you only having one visitor over at a time to not having visitors over for the first two weeks. It’s all based on you and your family’s needs.
It’s not your job to please everybody.
What is your job is to take care of your baby. Bonding is so important in those first few weeks. You can do whatever is needed to make sure that’s a priority.
I just wanted to encourage you. Like I said… it’s not your job to please everybody. Do whatever you need to do Mama, it’ll be okay.
